So, I'm super excited to announce that my next destination is the Republic of CONGO in Africa!!! The past few years since my last update have flown by with 2 years of intensive dental hygiene school, 5 board exams leading to my dental hygiene licenses in Ohio, Virginia, and the District of Columbia, then 4 crazy months of great dental experience working as a temporary dental hygienist in VA and DC. All of that preparing me for service with Mercy Ships in Africa again! With the Africa Mercy I'll be a member of the dental team like when I went to Togo in 2010, but this time I'll be going as a dental hygienist and staying a little over 3 months...January to April 2014. Also, I'm thrilled that my brother Jay will be serving with Mercy Ships at the same time, so we are definitely looking forward to travelling together and sharing adventures in the Congo.
